05/25/11: Disney knows its target demographic pretty well. Besides its theme parks, family-friendly movies and TV shows, the company recently announced that it is working on a multiplayer game that will be available for different gaming consoles that kids and parents alike can enjoy playing.

According to the company's website, the Disney Universe will allow players to customize their characters and enable them to explore a universe filled with popular Disney characters and worlds. The game will include a four-player cooperative option for those who prefer an adventure with their friends. Additionally, the character customization will include over 40 costumes inspired by different Disney characters like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch as well as Sully from Tron and Mike from Monsters Inc.

Disney, unfortunately, has yet to release a statement in regards to when the game will be out for everyone to enjoy. However, the company did mention that the game will be available for the Play Station 3, Xbox 360 and PC consoles.
