Reality TV has become a popular form of entertainment for people of all types. Hundreds of programs have aired since late 1999 early 2000. Some have come and gone and others are still as strong as ever. Reality TV covers everything from singing, dancing, modeling, cooking, fishing, sportsmanship, families and more. Some of the most popular reality TV shows are Survivor, American Idol, The Voice, Swamp People, Deadliest Catch, 16 and Pregnant, Jersey Shore, The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars, America’s Next Top Model, Project Runway, and Intervention. American Idol is probably one of the most watched reality TV shows today. People both young and old, enjoy watching the journey to find the best singer in America. American Idol takes you from auditioning to finals and shows you the good and the bad singers. For men and women too, shows like Deadliest Catch and Swamp People captivate their audience with the adrenaline pumping extreme fishing and outdoorsman ship. Deadliest Catch follows several captains and their crews through the Bering Sea during the Alaskan King Crab Season. Deadliest catch shows just why Alaskan King Crab fishing is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Swamp People is a fairly newcomer to reality TV, but already has a huge following. Swamp People takes you through the Louisiana Bayous during the 30 day alligator hunting season. The series revolves around 5 teams that are exposed to the elements and danger of alligator hunting. If you haven’t seen any of these programs yet, order some of the previous seasons on DVD from online retailers.
