New fall television shows have promise
Television networks save their best programming for the spring and fall seasons when people tend to be home most, and this fall appears to have some promising new shows for customers.
Gawker.com compiled a list of promising new televisions shows for the fall season, including those that are returning for a new season.
New shows that have created some buzz include Hellcats, a series centered around a college cheerleading squad, Boardwalk Empire, a period drama set in the 1920s during prohibition, and The A-List, a reality show similar to The Real Housewives franchise but centered around gay men.
Returing television favorites include breakout show Glee, which promises to be even more over-the-top than last season, Gossip Girl, which will be another round of rich kids doing the darnedest things, and 30 Rock, the darling of comedic television.
