Apple Inc.'s own Steve Jobs is having a book written about him by famed biographer Walter Isaacson, who penned the lives of other iconic figures like Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein.

According to Reuters, the CEO has been granting interviews to Isaacson for the past three years. Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp was interviewed by the news source and explained that "[j]ust as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius."

For those unaware, the famed Apple founder is currently battling a rare form of pancreatic cancer, and the book is likely to chronicle his struggles with his health as well as the hurdles he overcame to get his company off the ground. The book, which will be available in early 2012, is entitled "iSteve: The Book of Jobs," a play on the iconic "i" that Apple started with the iPod and also a nod to the Book of Job from the Hebrew Bible.
