Mariah Carey names babies by Carmine Barbetta (FB)

Leave it to diva Mariah Carey to name her kid after a room in her house. The songstress and her husband, Nick Cannon, recently revealed the names of their twins, born in Los Angeles on the weekend.

Their son will be sharing his middle name, Scott, with Nick, according to the Associated Press. At the same time, Scott is also Nick's grandmother's maiden name. His first name, Moroccan, is based off of the Moroccan-inspired décor of the rooftop of Carey's New York City apartment where Cannon proposed.

Moroccan Scott Cannon's twin sister is named Monroe, after Marilyn Monroe - one of Carey's idols. In fact, the singer has the Hollywood icon's white piano in her home, according to CNN. Monroe, just like Carey, does not have a middle name.
