About Lands' End

Lands' End, is a U.S.-based apparel retail company that has built a reputation for quality easygoing styles and accessories.

Lands' End is headquartered in Dodgeville, Wisconsin and took its name from a location in Britain, Land's End, which is a desirable sailing location.  The misplaced apostrophe was a printing mistake, but proved to be too costly to correct.
